Self Reliance

In Self-reliance Emeson I think, was a poem on how man should relie on self than society. "Man is his own star; and the soul that can Render an honest and a perfect man,Commands all light, all influence, all fate; This part of the poem is the strong point to me. Its the main source of the poem. Man is there own person ans shouldn't depend on others because everyone is not dependable, and should only depend on there thoughts, dreams, and themselves. Man should make their own decision. "Our acts our angels are, or good or ill,Our fatal shadows that walk by us still." This is saying to me is saying that our god is with us good or bad. They stand beside us at all times. Its also saying that the only thing that's always with us is our own shadow, so why depend on others.
